They called about a promotion for direct tv stating you could get certain channels for free for 3 months and then for only 13$ the next 3 months. I called direct tv and it was a fake number. Don’t answer just block them!

Yep, I got the same call from Direct TV yesterday 8-15-2020. Offered me 3 months of free showtime and gave me the date to call and cancel it if i didnt want it after 3 months. I said yes, and he signed me up but didnt ask for any personal info. When i didnt get the showtime channel the next day, i called direct tv and waited on hold with 4 different depts trying to find out what was going on..the first rep tld me it was a scam and to put a password on my acct, the other reps said they dont offer showtime for 3 months.. after waiting on hold for 55 mins and getting transfered from dept to dept, i hung up... the the customer service is horrible and the right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing at this company.
