called that they found something suspicious in the SSN. requesting i verify my name and address. I asked for his name, badge number or employee number and location of call. he gave me Victor, calling from Tx and employee number 4434. I didn't provide the information he requested. Just hung up

A man with an accent answered after an automated message informed me they are the IRS. The automated message prompts you to press 1 to get more information, then connects you. They ended up hanging up on me when I started asking questions.

Originally, i missed the call. When i called them back, there was a recorded meesgae that said that they were the social security administration offices and to beware of scams. I became suspicious after the message only offered 2 options. I pressed them both and never got anywhere though. So i dont know what these pretenders would have said. They said the office was closed, even though they just called me 2 minutes prior. So i hung up and googled the number. They are up to something. Dont answer their call.
