This is from TPH Law - a scammer group in Markham. They also send letters by snailmail from TPH and Saadi Law - another scammer in the same office at 110 Copper Creek Dr Suite 301 Markham, Ontario. If you are getting calls from them, check your credit score. They are putting fake delinquent hits on their victims' credit score in the name of CBV Collections. Then they make continuous multiple inquiries on the victim's credit rating. The guy running TPH used to be a manager at CBV, so he still has an inside person there collecting the scammed funds. Do not call these people back - they are criminals trying to steal from you. They also call from 866-943-2192, 844-293-6170, 416-491-2419.

Did not answer but looked up the number and I know I have some old debts from 2013. I reported calls to BBB in Ontario and requested a Cease and desist on any contact information the company has. The debt is 10 years old and my Province has a 2 year statute of Limitations. I also sent an email to company demanding a Cease and Desist on any contact. The company reported back to BBB that they have agreed to stop all contact.

This number called me claiming to be a process server to serve me with a lawsuit. When I called them back to find out more information, they were just trying to get my contact information. This is a debt collector, posing as a law firm or as a process service.

I just got this same call and was surprised, he said someone has summoned me to court, I'm like WHAT????? I called the # he gave me to call Anthony Brown attorney it went to voicemail, that's why i googled the # to make sure. Now that i see ur review i feel a bit better.

Trying to scare my mother (Debt collector) reported by


Received a call from the third party with information to call Ellington and Associates (law firm?) and a reference number. The third party's phone number comes up as a scam on caller ID and can not be called back. Called the "law office" and they say they are trying to resolve a Notice of Action before it is filed in court. Then starts talking about a line of credit debt that was not paid. Could not provide any information regarding the original debt other than it was Capital One. Then started asking if someone else had been living in my mother's home who could have opened an account fraudulently. a) A Notice of Action is something sent out in immigration court and has nothing to do with debt, b) My mother has never had a Capital One card c) Credit cards don't take people to court for an unpaid bill, they sell the debt and write it off d) Says she won't send anything in writing (maybe because they are bogus????) I told her to send it to trial. My mom has a lawyer on speed dial and isn't afraid to use him. Wrong woman, wrong day.

Rude lady that will not tell me the reason for her call. She wanted me to confirm my address and d.o.b. When I refused, she got all irritated and I hung up the phone.

I constantly keep getting calls from them and it gets irritating. I haven't picked up any of their calls and I am not planning too. I assumed that they were some kind of scam group. I haven't done anything illegal and I haven't got into and issues in terms of money or auto-vehicles. They have been calling me for a few months now and in these few months I haven't done anything. It is very annoying hearing phone constantly ringing every morning. I get a call from them once a day. I saw very bad reviews on the company and came to this site to research a bit more.

The one time I picked up (had a brain ****) they say I owe XXX amount, and if I don't pay, I will have to go to court. The company also sends letters, which include information that is completely incorrect, and likely illegal! I block the numbers now, and they keep generating new ones. They call daily, and it is harassment. TOTAL SCAM.
