Verisk 3rd party company for All State (Financial services) reported by


I received a letter from Verisk 3rd party company for All State in the mail a couple of weeks ago. I called my All State Agent asked what all this was about. Agent said Verisk is a 3rd party company for All State making sure the policy is up to date. I'm the only driver on my policy and owner of the car. However, they wanted the name of others in the house hold that are 15 of age or older that lives in the house hold as well. I said there's 5 of us that's 15 years of age or older, but I'm the only driver and I don't feel the need to give you anymore information for the other 4 that don't drive. I felt it got to a point of invasion. Not too sure about All State any more.

I also received a letter from 3rd party working for All State requesting ages of other members in my household. I feel these questions are invasive and violate the HIPA health information act. They ask why the other members of my household do not have drivers license. One of their questions ask why this person doesn't have a driver's license. It ask if this person has a medical reason for no license. So not their business to ask nor mine to reply.

The number called and I missed it. Only reason I called back was due to the caller ID on my cellphone reading it as Allstate. When I called back it gave a message stating how Allstate is trying to keep customers safe (this is actually part of the call when you call the legit Allstate 1800 number) so I believed it was legit. When I got someone the agent said they were having issues with their system. The call was also choppy and cutting off. When I asked why I was getting this call when my policy doesnt end for 2 more months and because I am paid up until the 15th, she stated that it was because she had to verify information (like I stated before it was choppy so I could not understand). Once she asked for my number and address and I could barely make out the words I hung up because I was confused how their phone system could be so terrible. So I called the Allstate Customer Service number. When I got with an agent she said there was no need for them to verify anything and that this number who called was not a Allstate number.

I answered a previous call. Called (Jason I believe) asking for information on my All state auto policy stating it was being modified in next renewal period. I asked when was the renewal date - caller could not tell me. I asked for the policy number - same response. I hung up.

Joanna a few seconds ago I’m an Allstate customer and the thought that Allstate is possibly giving my information out to some random 3rd party company ( when I never authorized my private information being given out!) really upsets me. I don’t care if it’s for so-called verification or some other BS purpose. I’m mad. This should not be happening.

THIS IS A SCAM. Got a call from this number, and although no message left, based on experience of other posters here, I had received a letter with Allstate logo from a company called Verisk stating that it was verifying info on my Allstate policy in advance of renewal. I contacted local office because too much of info in letter was incorrect and I felt Allstate would have correct info. Local office advised to ignore letter but if possible to scan letter and email to them. I did.
