They called from the same number 3 times. Denied first call. They immediately called back this time they asked a question I was unable to understand then they hung up when I asked them to repeat. They immediately called back for the third time asked a question to which I asked them to repeat, he then asked if I spoke Spanish. I answered no then he hung up.

Contacted Walmart support and disconnected the chat early; a rep called me up from this number and insisted on refunding part of my order. The experience was amusing and a bit delightful to be honest. Anyway, this is a legitimate number, not a scam.

Tried to get me to pay a past due balance claiming they were ATT (Scam call) reported by


I don't know how they're using a legit number, but it came through on my caller ID as ATT. I answered, they listed out my account number (I didn't know at the time, but after double checking, that was NOT my account number) and told me that I have a past due balance. I can either pay at ATTpay.com (Not a legit ATT site, ATT site is ATT.com/pay) or I could pay online with their automated system. I hung up and tried to get on the website they gave me and noticed it was the wrong site. I figured I might've written it down wrong so I logged on to my actual account and there is no past due balance. The account number they gave me was also wrong. I was so close to paying with their automated system. Beware! These scammers are getting good. Call ATT yourself/log in to your account to check before you pay.

I had an issue with DIrectv online, spoke to one rep who transferred me to another rep who could not find my account even with my phone number and my account number ... he was passing me off on another tech and I decided to hang up and start the process again. While on the phone with a different person from DIrectv, owho was able to find my account, this call came in on my cell... I answered it and Directv rep told me to ask the caller from “ATT” for their ID number and the caller said he couldn’t give me his ID number, it was against policy.... I quickly hung up. I felt like on my original attempt to call DIrectv I was forwarded to some other call center who was trying to steal my info.... my lesson, always ask for their ID and if they refused, beware....
