Phoney Notice (Unsolicited call) reported by RAD
I received a fake vehicle warranty notice in the mail for my new vehicle from an unknown company that sent out an "Official" looking notice stating vehicle warranty is about to expire. No company name on notice, just the telephone number to call. Includes my address, vehicle year, make & model, "MOTOR VEHICLE SERVICE NOTIFICATION" in all caps, Record ID, Notification Date, Expiration Date, TOLL FREE #, hours of operation, **Immeditate Response Requested** and Presorted First-Class Mail U.S. Postage PAID Carol Stream, IL 60188 PERMIT #1369. The notice reads as follows and : "Dear firstname lastname, Our records indicate that you have not contacted us to have your vehicle protection updated. This notice is to inform you that your vehicle is in need of a vehicle protection update in order to ensure its optimal operation. Please call us today at 1-877-308-3929. By neglecting to update your protection program you will be responsible for paying all repairs out of pocket." (Similar scam using the exact same wording has been previously reported using a different phone number: 1-833-323-0881.)

Received the same. At least the second time such "notice" was received.

We also received official looking notification in the mail describing our vehicle but with my mother-in-law's name as the owner. We started having her mail forwarded to us when she went to an extended care facility so I'm not sure where they are getting their info from.

Received the same. It's an insurance company called Endurance. Here's their privacy site with instructions to unsubscribe and get removed from their mailing lists: https://www.endurancewarranty.com/privacy/. I'm going to try submitting today, hope it works.

I have been receiving a similar letter since mid 2019. I received one today. I did a search and interestingly enough this is what was saw. (copy and past the link)
