I just received this call, and he said he needed to verify some information. I asked him what information, he said your address. I gave my address, he asked for my birthday, I gave him my birthday. I asked what claims he wanted to talk about, and he said he would need my customer ID, which I did not have on me ( it is at home) He then said "I can get your Social Security Number instead) I told him that I will not give out my Social Security number. He asked what would be a good time to call back. I told him I wouldn't be home until about 7pm tonight. Makes me suspicious, because most people will ask for your last four numbers of your social to verify.

This is Oregon unemployment. The woman seemed very legit, she had my personal info such as claim dates and address already. This number is listed on the oregon unemployment .gov website. I gave her my social and we discussed issues with my claim. She was very helpful.

I don't know if the oregon unemployment calls people directly since I've never heard of them call people however I can't say that they haven't. Just be causious .

Legit! She had a strong accent so I doubled checked before giving out the last 4 of my social. She fixed my claim problem. Glad I answered.

Oregon Unemployment Department, Whoever is listing this number as scam and/or unsolicited has no business being on this platform. if you're not going to mark numbers correctly, don't do it at all.

I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. On the other hand, I am not the only one searching for this number as can be seen from different pages... Does anyone know who might be calling?
