Almost incomprehensible accent of perosn on other line telling me I was over charged on Verizon bill last month and they are sending me the money. Would I prefer credit to my account or gift card. THen wanted to know my account information. I hung up.

Received a call during late afternoon hour from a man with a Middle Eastern accent (Indian), claiming to be calling from T-Mobile. He stated I had overcharges on my T-Mobile account and asked for either a credit card number or a debit card number to pay for the charges. When I asked him who he was calling for, he fumbled over his words. Almost repeating again that he worked for T-Mobile, then saying he was calling for "whose name is on the account." When I said, I don't have a T-Mobile account, he got quiet and then hung up.

Claiming to be T-Mobile, saying I overpaid my account last month (Scam call) reported by


A woman with a heavy accent claimed that I had overpaid on my T-Mobile bill last month, and was due a $29 refund. She hesitated when I asked her to tell me the name on the account, and then quickly hung up when I said it wasn't my name. They seem to call every couple of days.
