Caller ID Wells Fargo card services (Scam call) reported by


Caller ID came up as Wells Fargo card serices I answered thinking it was Wells Fargo verifying a charge on my card or acct for fraud protection purposes. It was not. When I answered the connection was bad and the call ended up dropping I looked back at my caller ID and then it said possible scam. I then googled the number and found all these problems other people had withn this #.

"Debt Collector". No way to tell who they are calling except to call them back at a different number than caller ID shows. (I get calls to the previous holder of my number all the time. If they want to talk to me, they can send something by Post.)

They are searching data bases for specific named persons. They have the name and an address why not use the USPS? Ans: Federal Mail Fraud..or what?

Calling Regarding Business You Have With Us (Debt collector) reported by


Asked for my name (DONT'T VERIFY!), then asked if "this" was my address. Seemed to have detailed personal info. Debt Collector? For what, I don't have a clue! I told this man that I am not verifying anything he says, and that if he had business with me he could mail it to me. Claimed to have already done so (Never Received Anything). He started to say, "this call may be rec(orded)...," and I immediately hung up. I have now block this number!!! Supposedly: "Accelerated Receivables Solutions, Inc."
