The guy asked for me by last name. Gave me his name and informed me that he had a personal business matter to discuss with me and wanted me to verify my address for them before proceeding. When I asked him he was with he told me Account services which was on the caller ID. I informed him that I had no idea who that company was and was not verifying any information for someone I didn't know or a company I don't recognize. He got very defensive and told me fine, when I was ready to provide my information discuss this matter, I could call him back at the number listed on my caller ID. Then hung up. No good bye, no have a nice day, just click.

Says I owe for a credit card I never owned. Told the representative but they continue to call.

They say they are from a debt collector. When I asked who it was for and what it was about. They stated a name that is not even remotely close to mine, when I asked for them to repeat the name they said that I heard them correctly and hopped right into trying to get personal information, when I stated that if indeed it was for me, they then have my mailing address on file and are able to mail me paperwork stating what the matter is about, after that they said that they have no such information and that I am required to provide that. I then stated if that is the way it is I was going to speak with a lawyer about the matter and they hung up and wouldn't answer when I called back.
