Allegedly NBT Loan Dept (Financial services) reported by


This number called my cell phone. It didn't come up as any ID as NBT bank or anything official. Did not take call, no message left. Then IMMEDIATELY I got called by same number on my work phone. This time I took call. Lady identified herself as NBT Loan Services and was to transfer me to appropriate agent. Very brief hold, then another woman answer. Both mind you in a foreign (Indian?) accent. Lady asks me 'how can I help you today?'. I'm like you called me, I didn't call you. Then seemed scripted wanted me to start divulging personal data. I immediately said no thanks, please take me off your list, and hung up. ID came up blocked and given context, I believe this is a scammer phone number. If it was legit, NBT should not have their data blocked.

NBT Bank (Debt collector) reported by


This number called and didnt leave a message so I called back and got a generic computer recording. As soon as I hung up he called back again. I answered and he said that he was part of a debt collection company for NBT Bank. He asked me to verify my street name and then wanted my birth year. When I wouldnt give it to him he got pretty mad. I asked him what company he worked for he said I told you NBT Bank. I said I know you are calling about a debt with them but what is the name of your agency. He got really mad at this point and said do you have any debt with NBT think really hard. I told him no. He was extreamly rude and got really mad when I didnt offer any informaiton.

I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck.

I've received numerous calls from this number, once daily and always in the am. i don't answer my phone from an ooa number so i couldnt tell you what its about. sorry :(
