RBC customer service told me this is a scam (Scam call) reported by


Number calls at night says RBC , usually an email follows indicating they want to review all of accounts. When I called customer service to ask if this was real, they told me they are not associated to that number and it is a scam call.

Apr 28 2023 same type of call - a 19 sec voice mail message to call "RBC something dept" at 1 877 877 7451 ... but my system detected that the call was actually placed from 1 844 299 6977. That number has been frequently reported as a scam number. Recd an email as well - asking me to contact RBC ??? at 1 877 877 7451 to review accounts ... email looked suspicious and RBC does not contact clients by email. Following up with local bank next week ... in the meantime have dialed *57 (call trace) - and that number that called my number was traced and reported to the police
