claim i had won $99 refund on my sprint phone. i am a sprint customer, so i continued to listen. my refund would appear on my next bill. i only needed to provide my pin to complete the transaction. no thank you, give the award to some one else. if they call you, it might be my fault. blocked the number.

definitely a scam. they will leave a message telling you to follow a link to put information to correct a problem with you phone. I called my carrier and there is NO problem...it's a Sprint number and it's a scam.

Sam call from a call center in India saying I'd won 900 dollars. (Scam call) reported by


The call came on my cell while at work. I answered, and the guy had a very heavy Indian/Pakistani accent. It was a bad connection with a lot of statics and lots of background voices, so it was obviously a call center with the calls being routed through a system masking their origin. He asked for several different people until he reached my name (reading from a list?), and told me my phone number has been selected as the winner of a $900.00 prize. I couldn't help myself: I just started laughing. he asked me repeatedly why I was laughing and what was so funny. I told him it was so obvious a scam that my cat would have figured it out (he's a pretty smart cat, though). I told him he needed to look for someone a lot dumber than I am, and I hung up, with him continuing to try to say I'd won.
