scam caller saying wanting refund money for miscrosoft. (Scam call) reported by


I retuned the call because the message left was odd, but i followed up. An Indian man took my call saying they wanted to refund my money for some recent work i had on my computer. I asked who they were and he said well, who are YOU? We want to refund the money you paid for work on your computer. I said what kind of computer and he said microsoft. I said I have a Mac and he replied they cover that too. He then asked how much i feel i'm owed. I knew it was a scam at this point and so I said seversl thousand. He said "Omg! Are toy kidding me???" He then said you cant be serious you're just tring to fool me and he hung up. When i called back just to badger him for being a scam, the line was busy.

they say Microsoft is shutting down, hmm, then they'll probably want to 'help' you download something called 'teamviewer' (which will let them take over your computer, so don't do it). Lol... people actually do fall for this. Microsoft isn't shutting down, ~you'd know, and it wouldn't be from someone looking to "refund your money". Scam.
