I've received two different calls from this number, one claiming to be from Wells Fargo and one claiming to be a credit union in Florida. Both calls cite the same reference number, and the same 'agent' to call back. I called Wells Fargo directly and they informed me it's a phishing scam. If you ever receive a call from a financial institution, you can always call them back directly with the number on your atm card or via their website regarding the issue if you are event the slightest bit suspicious and you will never be penalized

I get text and email alerts for things that happen with my account. The phone number on my caller ID matches the Wells Fargo Small Business help number, the caller gave me a different phone number all together.

THIS IS A SCAM!!! SCAMMERS CLAIMED TO BE WELLS FARGO. They leave a message to call back. If you do, they ask for your information to help you access your account... Don't disclose, if you did disclose any information, immediately contact https://www.wellsfargo.com/privacy-security/fraud/report/ or if they claim to be someone else, contact that company's fraud department to save yourself. Always go to vendor's website & call directly, not to a number left.
