Hung up when they sd debt collector could still be a scam!?! (Debt collector) reported by AAndrews
Cannot say for sure if this is a legit debt collector or not, because I hung up when they said who they supposedly were and why they were calling. I cannot remember the supposed company name they stated at the moment... sorry!!! Sometimes those can be used as a cover to get information for a scam though, so you never really know for sure. Either way, it is someone I don't want to speak to. I marked in my description that I didn't answer, because I didn't the other MANY times they called over and over again. But the one time that I did, it was very short lived. The repetitive calling from all these tons of different numbers every single day, even after being on the "Do Not Call" registry/list for over 3 years now, is super annoying!!! And I have do not have any recent debts at all... so if someone is trying to restart a debt against me after years of time, after me working so very hard to repair everything... that just equates to severe desperation on their parts, and it really pees me off badly!!!!!!! People that call repetitively should be charged with harassment.
