We were told that they could help us with our facebook page. they told us that we had to pay them with a gift card of 200 dollars to fix our facebook page and that they would need to be in our computer for no less than 4 hours . total bull *

I researched on google to “Facebook customer service” and got this number 888-275-2174. Called them and they somehow got a hold of my bank account info and made 4 charges off of amazon and 2 charges off of Target. I got a notification from my bank from the fraud department and I immediately asked them what these charges where and how this was happening. The person I was talking to say “f you” and hung up on me. I feel so violated. Thankfully my Bank is refunding me. They scammed me $574 dollars. These jerks are listed under Facebook Computer Tech's (Geeks squad). I called hoping they could fix my problem with a game not accepting my payment. 1st I spoke to a guy who called himself "Johnny M". He said that the problem is MY computer & he'll fix it for $149.99/Lifetime & all I have to do is drive to Walgreens & buy itune cards that equal $149.99, call them back & give him the codes. It's 106 deg outside, so I said, "NO! you're the tech, just tell me wth is wrong with the transaction I've done many times b4 , but cannot today!!". He just repeated what he said b4, So I said, "Give me your supervisors #" He gave me 1-888-860-0391. 1 min later, a "supervisor" ("Bruce D") called me back. As he's talking, I realized that the 1st guy is STILL IN CONTROL OF MY COMPUTER, typing/pushing buttons, & finally shutting it down. So, the 2nd guy tells me that if I want my computer to run right, I have to do exactly what the 1st guy said to do!. I screamed at him, " I'm NOT going to pay you Moran $150 to fix something when you sabotaged it to begin with!! And if you don't fix my computer back to the way it was b4 I contacted you, I'll get ahold of the head of FB & tell them exactly what you've been up to! And, they will take you right off of their website all together if they don't sue your a*es b4 me!" Within 19 min's, a 3rd guy called me ("Brian R") who's first question to me was, "I'm calling to make sure your computer/internet is working ok". I said it was, and asked him what happened to the other 2 guys. He lied & said that #1 was fired & #2 is just an "a*ole", then he went on to tell me to watch out for #1 bcuz he has my IP address & has been known to "F...ck up ppl's computers who p* him off!" I simply repeated what I told #2 about going to the heads of FB. He then said several other UNprofessional things! I believe that these ppl ARE not in the USA & that they get their American names by drawing random names out of a hat!! They are all STUPID MOR

I got this number from youtube-looking for help to contact Amazon, this number was in the comments-someone even thanked them said it was helpful(video was obsolete) they kept me on hold,the music- seemed like I was talking to amazon -they asked for e-mail, b day - did get hold of Amazon and they told me it was a face book number! worried-think i will change e-mail password

SCAMMERS. I called thinking this was a tech support number for Facebook. It is a company that will con you into thinking they are helping and then they put Ransomware on your system telling you that you have been hacked and they can clean it up for $149.00. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. They will password your system so you cannot get into it. DO NOT PAY THEM.

I was hacked and everything was removed from my fb page as if I never was on fb or existed. The geek squad gave me this # to see if they could straighten out my problem. The "tech" person told me I was hacked because I didn't have security software on my fb page. Also said I could get all my info back and be back on fb IF I paid over $100.00 for him to install it. I don't know if they are really tech support for fb or not. I hung up on the guy. This is a SCAM for sure.DO NOT PAY THEM.

Lists itself as facebook support. doesn't take long to realize they are some business (legit??) trying to get sign-ups for some kind of malware... when I ask "what company", they say tech support. When pressed("-for what companies?", they say techsupport for fb, google..(& others..)

I am beside myself that I called and fell for this awful scam. These people should go to prison. Now I am just waiting to see what happens Im so angry...and dont know what to do
