Very long, serious sounding, message. Claiming I owe them money. Threatening to file legal action with County Court and my employer and paperwork has been sent to my local sheriff's office. Today is the last day to contact them. Threatening to dock my pay and government will take the funds straight out of my bank account. Never say who they are & they don't say the name of the person they're calling for. Definitely a scam. I owe nobody money except for the mortgage on my house which is current and has been current since the day I bought it. Unfortunately, people are going to fall for this and lose money. Wish there was something else to do besides post this online.

Undisclosed company leaving VM threatening with wage garnishes and threats of sending the sheriff to my home or work address if I don't call back within 24 hours and establish a repayment plan. Threaten to file paperwork for a lawsuit against me. No name, no actual account info given, just very vague general information and serious-sounding threats that might make someone who doesn't know any better to call them back for clarification and be scared into being scammed.

They left a long scripted message. do not state who they are trying to reach. They are leaving this kind of information on a vm that doesn't identify give a specific persons name. The treat implied in the message is against FDCPA, especially if they do not have positive id that the number called is a good number. DO NOT CALL them back. ALSO unless the court orders wage garnishment, a debt collector cannot contact your employer hoping they will take "strict action against you" that's not how it works.

Scam call. DO NOT GIVE THEM INFO. The "company" does not identify itself, and the message left is threatening, does not reflect how the legal process actually works, and the individual is clearly reading from a script.

This was a robocall. The message does not specify their name, they do not specify your name, no account info provided, no info about supposed debt and they threaten legal action including wage garnishment and having local county sheriffs serve court summons. I don't have an outstanding collection accounts so this isn't for me.
