Hung up because it was an unsolicited call and they asked me to hold. Number was not familiar. Was in Er last week for fall so creepy looking at others in ER how they find this out?

This number began calling me after a visit to the emergency room for a broken ankle that resulted in a hospital stay and surgery in Missouri. I also received a letter from them with an address in Tennessee. So, I decided to look them up. It seems to be some sort of ambulance chasing scam law offices that tries to get personal information and auto insurance info. The letter threatens that if I do not provide the information about the car accident that never happened, my hospital bills will not be paid and I will have to pay them myself.

They must have gotten our information after a visit to the emergency room at the hospital. They were discussing billing. The people (because I've received 2 different voicemails) are not from the hospital.
