Many calls, same people, last time I told them I called the police and they said this company was a scam! The voice on the phone SCREAMED at me...”You ****! Who gave you permission to call the police!!” I thought that was so funny, I have had them cuss me out also, and I am an elderly lady.

It was a prerecorded call offering a refund from the government. I know for a fact the government doesn't owe me any refund. This is an outright scam. They probably want to get your private information (to make sure you are the right person, they need to supposedly identify you first). But really, this is a scammer for identity theft.

Voice mail transcription: "Call is in regards to your refund of $399 which you have paid to our company for your computer services (Personal note: I have paid no such amount). Unfortunately the company is shutting down and cannot provide the services any more in the future. Due to the policy changing the US department that's why you are going to get your refund for the subscription which you paid to us. To claim your refund kindly call us at 888-760-4202. I repeat it S8887604202." I called this number back and a human immediately picked up. As soon as I said hello a voice told me that his name was Charlie from Microsoft. Since Microsoft is not even close to "shutting down," I said "No, you're not." and hung up. As stated many times for this number, the number is in use by a scam group.

Voicemail took the call. Started in the middle of a computer-voiced pitch about an unnamed company shutting down due to the "government agency", I should call the number to get "your refund". I got this same recorded robot voice message 8 days later and then the same exact pitch a day after that from another number: 888-496-1141.
