They will call you for preauth of the test your physician ordered for you, if you don't trust it, just ask them if they can give you the name after providing part of the information. The number looks very dubious from first looking but it is legit lol

Evicore (?) robocall asking for me to verify information over the phone....NOT. (1) that is a big no no and (2) this call came 45 minutes away from an MRI I was having and was on the road to get there. No I'm not going to put in a bunch of numbers while I am driving and secondly, I didn't have time to do that. Nothing like waiting until the last minute to talk to me about it or wait, robo call me about it. Anyone in their right mind would have raised an eyebrow to giving personal information to a robocall. Duh! Kinda doesn't surprise me. United Healthcare, while I am glad to have medical insurance, is not the brightest medical insurance company I have ever dealt with. As our employers get cheaper to keep more profits, the healthcare they offer gets worse and worse.

Don't give your DOB over the phone to a robocall. Be safe, hang up, call your insurance provider. In this case it was United Healthcare or on behalf of United Healthcare.
