The caller will act as Reliant Energy's final debt collection, and will be able to tell you the amount you owe and the past amounts you have paid. The reason they know these values is because your mail has been stolen, specifically the billing documents you've been sent by reliant. The caller will claim they have no card on file, and will be convincing they are legit. Do not give them any information. I called Reliant directly after, and they let me know they hadn't contacted me regarding the final bill as of yet and confirmed this call is a scam Do NOT give them any information, call reliant directly instead. This number IS A SCAM.
