Called back and got an indian sounding gentleman. Wanted me to run www.refund426.webs.com. I knew it was a scam so I played along for a little bit, pretending I was slow and old. While he was talking I googled the link and it came up scam, of course. Anyway, after I told him that my pc said scam, he called me every name in the book (mofo etc.) and I just laughed in his face. Another one I've done is when they call and say a virus has infected your pc (and I'm watching a soccer game and have plenty of time to kill), I'll play along and do everything he says up until it gets serious, and just keep dragging it on. Finally, I'll say " Oh, wait! This is not a pc, it's an Apple!! And I get the same reaction where he yells for 20-30 seconds ( mofo, etc.). Loads of fun. Plus he's off line for 20 minutes where he can't scam other people. So if you're bored one day, call the number below and jerk him around for a bit. This one is about the subscription refund. Enjoy!

I do the same.......waste as much of their time as possible. At the end, I say I have a new debit card and have to go get it to give the new # and then go watch TV. God only knows how long it takes for the camel jockey to catch on.
