Looking to collect a debt. Call several times a day. (Debt collector) reported by


Call looking for people we never heard of to collect a debt for acme. I never answer but they leave messages. They start calling at 7:30 some mornings and continue through the evening. This has been going on for the last 2 weeks. As far as I'm concerned, it's just another scam and invasion of privacy! They have used 2 different names on the calls.

please have him call me...and who are you?? real businesses offer info on their company name, caller name, phone number. and don't sound like they've been caught with a hand in the cookie jar

I answered the call, but it hung up. I called back. I waited for a human to answer...told him that it wasn't nice to call me and hang up. He was going to check the number that I called from, and then hung up again.

I have no idea who this is but they called my number I have had for over 1 year. Said I owed directv(?) money and they were going to put a lien on my property. I never had that company. Must be the one that had this number before me. I told them prove who I am an if any type of lien or threat for something I do not have I will be getting in touch with the attorney general.Then I cussed them out and told them I will be getting in touch with the fcc and consumer protection along with everyone else I can. They took my number off their list.
