I know it is a scam because I have Geek Support, and they never call their customers, we call them when needed!

Call from Sherman, TX. Said a message came through from my computer and he was calling from Microsoft. I said you are NOT from Microsoft. Then he said 'let me explain, I am from Geek Squad' I said 'you are not' and hung up.

Told me they were from the Geek Squad and they noticed a problem with my computer. They said I needed to go online and they would help fix the problem. I called the real Geek Squad and was told this was a scam.

claims that I paid them $129 last year for 2 years of computer security. My computer has been dead for 5 years, he claims he's calling from Austin, Texas and called ID shows Sherman. When I asked what date I supposedly paid them last year. I told him I'd be contacting my bank for fraud and he hung up quickly
