Utterly inappropriate (Scam call) reported by

They called asking for the owner. When I went into my frustration rant: They’ve been called for three years now. I’m just a low income, stay at home mother. I live in a trailer park and will never own a business. I certainly would not take out multiple loans if I ever do get so fortunate as to start my own business. I tell them I registered with the do not call registry and I have had enough and will  pursue legal action if they do not cease. The guy apologized, but that’s when it got weird. The man says, “I’ll remove your number from our computers. However, may I call you personally? To say hello, to talk. You have such a sweet voice and sound very attractive. Are you married? I’m looking for a wife I am from  Ghana. I would very much like to talk to you after my shift at work.” I had the phone on speakerphone the entire call and my 16yr old daughter heard. She was trying not to laugh aloud the entire time. So, it went from basic harassment, these people not wanting to accept that I am not the business owner; to nearing sexual harassment. Not that I’d call that sexual harassment but it was very uncomfortable. This man said his name was Larry Parker. Then decided his name was Peter Parker, to which I laughed and asked if he had been bitten by any radioactive spiders lately, could he shoot webs from his hands and fight crime. He did not reply but sure enough he called again later from a caller ID blocked number, wanted to chat, as if this was some dating hotline.

Refused to leave message (Financial services) reported by

I got 2 calls from this number today. First call, I heard noise on the other line and then they hung up after a few seconds. Second call, a man asked for the same person all these telemarketers think is the owner, but they don't have the right name, and he asked to be transferred to "him". I asked what the reason of the call was, he said it was a financial matter and would not give any further information. So I told him, that he's busy and if he wants to leave a message. He hung up right away when I said that. Caller ID: NEW YORK NY.
