Called my mom. Said they would need her to pay some amount now for Norton protection of computer that had expired or would charge $400 "to her card" which she'd not given them. Gave her this number to call, she called and was treated very rudely and arrogantly.

Scam call to trick you into giving access to your computer in order to process a refund - or charge you - for "Windows Security." Our service is ending tomorrow so we need to refund you, or you will be charges $2000 tomorrow. None of their stories make sense. I don't even own a Windows PC.
