"Sold" my Timeshare (Scam call) reported by Marcus
Scammer. The deal is that he has sold my timeshare for me (I never hired him or even heard of him before). Claims his name to be Scott Parker. When I wire him almost $1700 for closing costs, he will Fedex me $21,000 for the timeshare. The money has to be sent to the Dominican Republic in US dollars, converted to Dominican pesos. There was much urgency. I needed to go to my post office asap and wire the money, with the corresponding call back to him (above-number) so he could "take care of his end." Um.....no. I have a sneaking suspicion that "Scott" might be someone else....

Timeshare Escrow Refund (Scam call) reported by Anonymous
I received a call this morning from this number. Same as below. A person whose name was not disclosed, claims he was from Refund & Sales Consulting. He wanted my address to send me paperwork on getting me a refund of $16,000 from the company who held my timeshare's title. My timeshare was sold years ago to a company which he seemed to have information on who went bankrupt and they needed to clear the Title through their company. I would receive a refund check and they would receive a service. I said send me more information so I could followup on his company and gave my address. He ended the call with something to the effect of putting icing on his cake.

Timeshare Escrow Refund (Scam call) reported by Kathy
The person on the phone was Scott George and he told me he was from Refund and Sales Consulting. If I paid him $895 he would get me a refund of over $20K from being scammed trying to sell my timeshare with telemarketers. He wanted me to wire the money via MoneyGram or Instagram. I would tell him the wire transfer number, but he wouldn't tell the recipient of the money until I was pleased with the result.
