Same guy as I have read in others description. Busy man making all those unwanted phone calls Threatening and harassing, now calling my place of employment I downloaded Robokiller to my cell phone he actually sat there and waited while being put on hold lol Never took out a loan he claims to be collecting for no intention of giving him any information or money. Thanks to doing research and reading this website.

They originally called my cell using a blocked #. I let it go to voice mail. The message was the recording of a woman stating she was looking for Joe (my brother) and to call 877-958-9055. So I called from my office phone. The man who answered was an extremely rude man and got mad when I would not supply my cell # to him. I told him to go "F" himself and hung up. He continued to call my office # from 949-299-5964 and harass me. Said he was going to inform my job as to how I use my office phone!! LOL!! If that **** only heard how we talk in the office!!! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS CALL!!!

This line is associated with someone who calls himself John Brooks and is hoping to con you into thinking you have an unpaid pay day loan which a company supposedly loaned you money, though they cannot tell you what company loaned you money. Other numbers associated: 8667162809, 8179757604, 9492995964, 4699195318. DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE!!! They have your stolen personal information and are trying to use it to steal your money! They will threaten to serve you papers for "refusal to pay" and you're company will garnish your wages and you will go to court and will go to jail if you do not pay these phonies. This guy, "John Brooks", said that he is a retired First Sergeant trying to apologize for getting so angry. He is the worst kind of scum!

I received a call first from Mr. P. stating I had two pay day loans I had opened in 2012 and that I was going to be served papers. I asked when I opened these and one was 01/01/2012. I said what loan place is open on New years Day??? he then got an attitude and I called him some words and so this morning I got a call from john brooks saying I would be served papers either tomorrow or no later than Monday. I have never done a pay day loan and I will not give them a damn thing!!!! I told them ill know I'm being served before you do and that texas would serve me not california

Outstanding loan and check fraud?? (Debt collector) reported by Aimee
I got a restricted call from a woman stating I have outstanding loans. I cut her off because I've never taken out a loan outside of student loans so she transferred me to her "manager" then hung up. So I got a call directly afterward from this phone number, which is from California but I live in Texas. I answered knowing exactly who it was and a very angry, threatening male voice immediately began telling me he had an affidavit for me for check fraud. I've never used a check in my life. I don't even have a bank account. He told me I was in danger of being arrested if I didn't comply, to which I responded that I wouldn't receive a phone call, from California of all places, threatening my arrested: police officers from MY state would come to my door. He rattled off a bank and job I haven't had in over 5 years and said he hopes I'm not a teacher because I was cursing at him. He proceeded to scold me for my "nasty mouth" so I laughed and hung up. Don't answer these fools. This call reminded me of the prank caller that convinced a store manager to strip and search an underaged employee. Ridiculous. Its fun to rile him up though so if you do get a call, at least make it entertaining and make him angry lol

The call is a scam telling you that you are being called because you wrote bad checks, theft by deception and other things. I asked and who am I supposedly of written the checks to??? The man became irate telling me my licence was going to be taken away for 6 months and a Sheriff would be coming to my door, since I refused to cooperate with him. What even made this call more of a scam he had my address that was to an address I lived like over 10 years ago. One more thing he said my wages to my place of employment were going to be garnished. I said.. Could you tell me the name of my place of employment?? Once again he became irate and told me he was terminating the call and hung up!!
