This number calls you to see if you wanna receive a collect call from an inmate in jail. YES, collect calls are so outdated, and the fact you have to pay for them is ridiculous, and to set the account up is also ridiculous (I’d hate to be on the other line waiting on hold for my loved one while they go through the automated part) but yes, it’s from the Portland jail.

I get this all the time from a friend in jail. They have to use i (Service) reported by Me
The company name is Securus, the facility is Multnomah County Detention Center. Totally legit...if you get a call answer because someone may need you. You can set up an online account to fund future calls. Yes annoying LONG intro but it is the only communication with inmates.

"Collect Jail" (Scam call) reported by Mik
This was a machine claiming to be a collect call from the Multinomah County Corrections Facility. An inmate that needed bail or something. But many other people have gotten the same call. They just want a recording of you saying "yes" or "I agree" so they can use it on automated bank voicemails.

It is the jail and I know an inmate there. If you get the call, go to http://www.mcso.us and search the name, if you know someone with the first name. Its Portland Oregon I thought it was a scam, but searched the only name I would know who was there. Its the jail and if you know the first name, someone is looking to get bailed out. The search will tell you the charges.

Had to be a wrong number. Didn't hear any kind of scam, if it is from the bounty detention center some one may need help with getting bond out of jail.
