Called claiming to be from a collection agency trying to collect medical debt from 3 years ago, I explained how that's impossible and that my insurance doesn't allow the hospital to charge me anything after paying their portion and that its weird that he would be calling me to collect a debt I settled 3 years ago. He got defensive and tried to tell me that's not how insurance works and I explained that legally they would not be able to send anything to collections. He got nervous and confused and I decided to end his suffering by telling him I would look into it and get back to him

Caller asked for me by name. I asked who was calling. He said call was being recorded and I hung up. (I knew I should have let it go to voicemail. Scammers drive me crazy!)

Asked me to verify my address, I said okay, tell me what you have. She would only confirm my city and state. I told her that I would not give any information. She suggested I look up their company. If they want to confirm my address, they can send me a letter.
