Total scam call from imaginary inmate with no name (Robocall) reported by

This is a total scam. I had a daughter in prison and they always tell you the name of the inmate if the call is real. These are crooks but they aren’t in prison yet. Hopefully they will be soon.

Free call from Inmate but doesn't say where or name of inmate. (Telemarketer) reported by

Left me 4 messages today saying a call from Inmate but doesn't say who and doesn't say what County or Jail they are calling from. Says go to www.securistech.net or call a number to fund an inmate's phone account so you make sure you don't miss a call. Websight was total bull. Looked up the phone number and it's from Texas! I am in MN! I don't know anyone in TX or anyone in jail that I know of, and if they were, they wouldn't be in TX!?

I've recieved other legit calls from facilities, which did have strange numbers (wether it looked like a normal local CELL, out of state, etc) as most facilities use a 3rd party service. The call I recieved was silent when Usually the person says their name; (not insane as theres ONE chance at recording& 0 instructions) But FOR ALL CALLS? No way. It also named a jail in My state; I only take this as the scammers getting smarter..But most aren't going to ANY website especially not knowing who is calling so it's a ridiculous scam.

Securistech is a 3rd party jail call provider ran from another State. They will forward the call to whomever the inmate wants to call but their caller ID will show up as their number. Securis tech is a provider I have used. However, I have never had a jail call NOT announce the facilty.

Scams typically get a row of numbers& work their way down. Theyre specifying different County jails within the state of the caller. It is THE LONGEST pre-recorded statement I've ever heard! I could hear static whereas the line should've been clean, so I said "why won't this lady shut up.." (Usually if u accept, it does, But it did not) and then it says"the caller hung up" which I've also never heard? Usually the call would just end! Definetly a scam.
