They have no interest in your car on Craigslist. Same test message I've seen everywhere, From Camden, wants his mechanic to look at the car, but you have to go to lookupvin.com to pay for a report. My son in NC received the exact same message in NC because he has my car up on Craigslist as well, except that time he was located in Wilmington, NC. Disgusting people!!!!

This number texted me with an interest in a car in Craigslist for sale. Said if I gave them the car fax from lookupvin.com they would be interested in making a deal. Total scam. I feel taken and it's not over. What goes around comes around.

I listed a car on Craig's List for sale and got a text message from this person saying that they were interested in the car and if I could supply them with a report on the history of the car. They said if the report was clean they would make a deal with me to purchase. Apparently this person must be employed or have a connection with this car report company that you pay $19.99 for their report. I'm going to go further into this because this person is a scammer and this needs to stop!! I will get to the bottom of this...

I got the same call as the first complaintant, they text me asking if car was still available and asked me if I got a report then we would talk further about buying the car and there mechanic wanted a report.... But the gave me apparently "THERE" website called { lookupvin.com } ..... For all YOU folks out there that want a FREE VIN report, go to reaearch.com and get a FREE one....!! Your welcome, Gary~ @@ By the way, I text this person back, Called them a LIAR and said I was not going to purchase there report when I could get it for free....? Thanx, Big Gary~
