A male individual called the house with this number and was stating it was my grandchild mind you no one in the household has grandchildren. And after asking who it was and him repeating it was my grandchild and calling me grandpa . i said okay grandchild what do you want? and he hung-up right away.

Comes up US District Court on Caller id. Said hello and after a period of time heard noise but no one said anything. I hung up. Annoying and harassing plus scam. Wish they would stop calling. Next step is the legal system.

Caller Id was: us courts. Since our state is opening some from the coronavirus, the scammers seem to be back at work. All during the shutdown I didn't get scam calls all day long. Now they have started back up.

Person calling identified himself as my grandson and was very evasive when I kept asking for his name. He was trying to make me feel bad that I did not recognize his voice and said he was my oldest grandson. Then finally gave me a name that is not that of ANY of my grandsons and then he hung up when I paused. Be Very Careful. An earlier call in the day was another anonymous grandson who was in a car wreck in the Dominican Republic and needed $800 for bond money so that he could get back to the U.S. That call did not show a phone number at all but I am sure they are connected and probably came from the same scammers.
