Was called by the subject number and they left a message. Called back just for fun. Talk to a person calling them self VIT DEP. He was in a real noisy place. He told me he would be my attorney for...$45,000... and all this arrest issue would go away. I said good bye.

Claimed they were monitoring the property and that it was important to call them back before they proceeded with legal proceedings. Didn't mention any names and were vague on details.

They left a message that their is a warrant out for my arrest. When I called back someone answered. However they did not address themselves as being with the IRS. When I explained about the voicemail message she didn't hang up there was just silence like she muted her phone. So I hung up and googled the number. SCAM!!!

This number is connected to the IRS scam that is circulating. It is a pre-recorded message telling you that the IRS has an arrest warrant for you and that you need to call the number back immediately to avoid being arrested. I called the number back and told I would be waiting and they hung up. IRS does not call individuals to give them a warning that they are going to be arrested nor does the IRS handle issues over the telephone or email, all correspondence is in writing.

Just received the same call today (4/4/17). I think adding my number to the DO-No-Call list was the wrong thing to do as I now get a log of calls on my cell phone. I think the dishonest companies are using the Federal "Do Not Call" list as a list of numbers to call. I even had one caller tell me they do not care if I am on the DNC list.

I received the same message. I kind of figured it was a scam. Glad I looked it up. I will NOT be calling them back!
