They won't stop calling. (Scam call) reported by


Apparently this is a whole network of Asian and SE Asian descent. First they tell you the are from a Federal Grant Buteau or the US Dept of Treasury or some other federal agency. They give you the correct address of an agency within the area code they call from. Then they ask you to put money on Apple gift cards or Western Union. Big dcam I report them every time to the FCC. Hopefully the FBI catches up with the whole bunch of scoundrels

The man had a very thick accent, he informed me that I was eligible for a $9,000.00 grant. I said I was not interested and rang off, to my surprise, he was bold enough to called back. I promptly told him to quit bothering me and I hung again.

i said how did you get this number, he said is this "my name" and i said it is what do you want? he said you have government money coming to you i said no i don't, he said "oh you don't want your money?" i said no, take my number off your list and hung up. they keep calling. i tried calling back, the number is disconnected. they use different numbers, i have blocked 4, they keep calling from 202 Washington DC area code, it's a guy with an indian accent.

They called and wanted to speak to me. Fiance answered the phone. After calling three times- the third time they called back hoping to get me on the phone and used profanity when refused. We tried to call the number back and it is disconnected. This is a SCAM
