Called once and I answered. The phone number said it was from Washington DC, and I lived in Indiana. They asked is this was *insert my name* and i was. Then they said my address which was correct I started to get worried. They said that if i didn't kill a certain man at a certain time then they would kill me. Don't know how they got this information or my phone number.

Rec'd a call at 2pm, told them firmly to not call back. The woman started arguing with me. I may or may not have said a 4 letter word or two and threatened Atty Genersl action before I hung up. Over the course of the remainder of the day, I received SEVEN more calls from the same number. Not only is this operation shady, but their ESL telescammers are too sensitive and have a fetish for harassing busy people. I'm so annoyed.

aetec communication. Now windstream. The direct sales line. 855-852-9460 This is the company which is the in between for you and the scammers. The only number They answer.They provide cover so you can not find the real caller. From India or wherever.call here complain they hate it and it's fun.at first they act like they don't know? But they do.

Alrighty, you might think I'm foolish, but I am actually just seeing clues to see if this is an actual scam or not. Well a girl called me and said she worked with the Federal government, so I looked down at my phonr and saw the call (202)444-4444 was from Washington DC, so for an instant I was like, welp the number is a flag but the place isn't so I continued on, and it seemed like during the background I could hear other people giving out similar information on their own which was red flag #2. Well anywhi this lady told me I was picked randomly from a grant and I needed to recieve $7,000. She had a thick accent and got sort of except when I asked her to repeat herself over and, red flag #3. Then she saids shes going to have to transfer my call and it seemed like she just passed her phone to a guy beside her, red flag #4. Okay you are probably wondering why I haven't hunged up by now, well I guess I was hoping to get 7 grand for college. The man then told me I needed to find a CVS and buy a Apple Tune Gift card with my own personal money for $250. I told him I was a highschooler and didn't have that kind of money. He then told me to call him back so he can keep his job. I totally believe this is probably some foreign people all crunched up in a room calling 15000 people to scam them. After I baught the gift card I would have to take it to Kroger and recieve my 7000 there. They didn't ask for my information which was weird, they did know my 1st and last name and my address...I wonder if they got that from localjobster.com. well anywho, they were probably going to get me so hyped that I shared my social. Good thing I kust told them I didn't have the money to buy the itunes gift card.

Guy called and said I was owed 9000.00 at first I didn't beliieve him but he talked me into confirming my identity and address and 4 days later a check from the Government arrived for the full 9000.00 minus 34.00 for the fee the tracking company who found me received for a job well done! This made my day :)

Guy tried to tell me the government was giving me $7000 and it was not a loan or grant but money owed to me and wanted personal info. When I told him I didnt believe him he hung up on me. It is a scam!!
