Gov. Grant Scam (Scam call) reported by Aaliyah
Received a called by +1(800)121-1216 winning a 9,800 grant which I would not pay back. Had to call this # to give a grant Code. She told me to give a 250 to receive the grant. What I'm just worried is that I confirmed my name and city I lived. I am concerned that they can record me saying yes and use it for other purposes.

I RECIEVD MANY CALLED ABOUT 10 OR SO THE SAME DAY, TODAY OCTOBER 10TH 2017. A GUY CALLED SAYING I WAS SELECTED OUT OF 1,500 STUDENTS FOR A GRANT SPECIFICALLY 9,000. THEY THEN SAID I WILL HAVE TO PAY 250$ TO GET MY MONEY AND ONCE I DO THAT THEY WILL PUT THE 250$ WITH THE GRANT. I KNEW IT WAS A SCAM I WAS GOING ALONG TO SEE IF I CAN GET MORE INFORMATION ON THEM, I DID. DON'T FALL FOR IT!

Man with heavy accent called to say I was being given a grant for over $9,000 to use whatever way I wanted and that I never had to pay it back. He called from a 800 number asking me to call the 202 number and gave me info to claim this money. I knew it was fake so I did the look up on the 202 number and here I am.

He said I am getting $9,800 from the government. Scam (Survey) reported by Jen
They said I am getting $9,800 in federal grant money for paying my bills on time and not filing bankruptcy. He wanted me to go to Wallgreens, Wallmart, Moneygram and get an Apple card. He (Erick**) said drive now and call me when you're on the parking lot. He was sending $9,800 and I only needed to pay state taxes of $250 before receiving the $9,800. I looked up scams and yes indeed found out this is a scam, be careful.
