Called and claimed that he was with Microsoft. He told me that they were alerted about possible virus infecting my computer. He told me I had to visit a website he had given and I needed to log in. Pure scam.

I got the same call about my "Windows," I asked if the reports were coming from my MAC, the guy said yes......so I said, I thought that you were from Windows? .....the line went dead and he hung up

The man claimed to be with Microsoft and that my computer had alerted that It was infected with a virus. I new immediately that it was a scam, so I told him that their was nothing wrong with my computer and that I had a very good company that protected my computer-so he hung up. they have called me twice since then and just hang up now!!!!!

remote computer repair. when I told him I was a network engineer he abruptly hung up. FYI this is not Microsoft but someone claiming to be Microsoft. if you want to file a complaint contact the Federal Trade Commission or the Federal Communications Commission

Keeps calling telling me that they received notice my computer was experiencing a lot of viruses and posable identity theft hacks. I asked for a verification email to be sent to my account on file. He told me all verification will be done once I was in front of my computer. I told him I was at work and to call me back later. The caller has a very thick middle eastern accent, and is very forceful when he talks (meaning he wants you to do what he tells you to do). Do not do anything he tells you to do. This is a scam.

Got a call from from MS Windows support about to fix my Windows with viruses. He had a very heavy accent and requested a remote access to my laptop. Total scam!

This a scam becareful he said is from Ms window and he will fix your computer front virus do not give any permission to get in to your computer he will ask you for$ 599. To fix it and if you don't pay he will block the computer for ever even if you pay he will take your money and brake your pc

Caller said she was with the Treasury Department, they received a legal petition note for tax filed against me. The name she left was Officer Brianna S, she said this could lead to my arrest if I did not return the call.
