Amazon might not call to verify order, but if you buy on Amazon through "Amazon export sales LLC" they might. Different companies. I got a call from them last night to verify an order about 10 minutes after submission. They didn't ask any account info.. only if i ordered a laptop and they stated the name and shipping address and asked me if correct.

I did not answer call, but Googled it and found it was a Amazon number, but it also spoofed by scammers. I chatted with an Amazon rep who checked and said the call did NOT come from Amazon.

This number has called almost 20 times in the last twelve hrs and several times yesterday. It is a scam. I called THE REAL Amazon today to verify and they assured me they do not call and to not give any personal info.

Same happened to me today. I hug up and called Amazon and they said there was no activity on the account that matched the call. Most likely a scam

Same happened here, same amount, from the same city and state. I could hardly understand the person on the other line. I asked for a US rep and was put on hold for a few seconds and the same person claimed to be a manager. When I questioned him the call mysteriously disconnected. TOTAL SCAM

t's a Scam!
Same here, they have been calling all day today. I called Amazon and they said there was no activity on the account that matched the call and thanked me for reporting it. 12/15/2020
