Won a cruise trip but they need my credit card info? HA! (Scam call) reported by


Most of my calls come to my home phone but this number kept calling my cell and I have family near L.A. (area code 213). I made the mistake of answering once. Recording starts "talking"...I won a cruise blah blah give them my credit card for verification of identity blah blah...HA! 1) How can I win something I didn't enter? 2) Are there not better ways to verify identity? I forget what number you press to get removed but I did it. Now they call daily and never leave a message. It has become a nuisance and my old phone/phone plan doesn't allow for blocking numbers (except for text blocks) but I am on the No Call List (a lot of good that does). Don't answer the calls!
