I had something like this call, asking questions that you'd answered with a Yes or No to get your voice on record and I got changed for $90 of skin care which I'd never do at any time! I was lucky enough to get my bank to Stop them from getting my money! Yes, be careful! I don't answer numbers I don't recognize!

"JOE" (Scam call) reported by


Received a call from "JOE"? He said "Hello, my name is Joe and i understand someone in your home is suffering with chronic pain. I said, " Who are you with?" The line fell silent. He then introduced himself again saying," As i was saying, my name is Joe, I understand someone in your home is suffering with Chronic pain and I think I may be able to help you" went dead silent then asked repeatedly "Can you hear me? Ma'am can you hear me?" I didnt answer. So he went through the entire thing again. Continued to go silent then ask "Can you hear me?" I believe he was trying to record my voice saying "Yes."(I could hear him) so he could use it to have my consent in my own voice to God only knows what. I would be VERY CAREFUL! He refused to tell me who he was and hesitated long enough between asking if I could hear him to turn on a recorder, then ask a yes or no question. And to ask such a personal question without telling me what company he was with. Shen i refused to say "Yes" he hung up. But called back 4 times to try to get me to answer.
