Guy called and pretended to know someone here. He had the name wrong. Ask for the actual name. And then try to offer me additional business capital. He said he knew something that happened previous several months ago, and said that he was the lienholder. Wouldn’t tell me his name or his company name and then hung up.

Guy called our business line asking for *mispronounced name* which is our business owner. The owner doesn't accept calls on our service line and so I went through the normal steps trying to take a message. The guy threatened to immediately throw the file into collections and said "you authorized that, just remember, it's going into collections today because of you" - first off.... if it really was an attempt to collect a debt, he couldn't tell me what he intended to do with "the file" since I'm not the responsible party. I told him his tactics were bad and hung up.

This number called my mother wanting to talk to me. She didn't answer because she has scam alert. They left a message asking for me but under my maiden name. They then texted her. She screenshots it and sent it to me then blocks the number. They then call from a different number and do the whole thing all over again, threatening her and me. I called the number and got the run around. F*ng ridiculous.

Called and when I rejected the call they sent a text saying I needed to hurry up and reply so I did not go to court or have garnishments. I do not have any outstanding debts and it came from a different number than the call but told me to call back 305-448-8108

Someone claiming to be similar cartel called and threatened me (Silent call) reported by


A man named John Portee sent a text saying he works for escort service house and claimed to be similar cartel. He threatened to kill my family and sent pictures of dead people. Most people would be scared but it’s obviously a scammer.

Same thing here, happened before, it’s a scam. You get these texts when you don’t do anything, not convincing for that reason.
