They were asking about my company, and I told them that they company was unavailable at the moment and the person got very fustrated and kept asking why I wasn't telling them any information and they said that they were recording the phone call for training purposes,and asked them if I could take a message and they refused to give me a message on why they were calling

Scammer claiming to be be updating Dun and Bradstreet's credit profile. D&B's own advice is that any legit caller will be able to provide a reference number so you can call them back. No reference number = scam. Or ask them to write to the agent or address D&B can pull straight from official company registries: again, if they press for verbal info it's a scam.

Didn't pronounce the name correctly. Verify the same info on states website. Told them if they wanted information they can send a certified letter and explain why they need this info. Hung up.

This is in fact a company called Dun & Bradstreet they provide numbers for companies to start a credit line. Apples uses them for Apple developers to ensure companies are legit.

After having several missed calls from this number on my phone (no message left) I answered a call. The lady on the end claimed to be from Dunn and Bradstreet and wanted to confirm personal details of my company, including address etc. I asked why she was doing this via phone rather than mail and she claimed the company didn't have the resources to use the mail. I said that I didn't give out personal information via telephone due to fraud and security concerns. She immediately ended the call and hung up.

Callers claiming to be from Dun & Bradstreet, are targeting people to participate in a “survey” and requesting personal information including name, date of birth and address details. If you receive a call of this nature, please ask the operator for a reference number, end the call, then call Dun and Bradstreet on 132 333. Legitimate operators calling from Dun & Bradstreet will always be able to provide a reference number. Please note: Dun & Bradstreet will only ever ask you to confirm personal information in instances where you are needing direct access to your own personal credit report held on our bureau, or if it is in regard to an outstanding debt.
