I have no idea why this number called me just now. I'm in the middle of work and I get a call from Texas. I google the number to find out it's a telemarketer. I guess it's yet another number going on the blocked number list. Also if you have a cell phone you can add phone number to a blocked number list if you didn't know. Just an fyi.

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call center. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with Payday loans call center from Texas - Austin, block it if not interested. I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centers). No problems.
