I answeed the call even though it said "spam call" because this is a company phone and I couldn't take the chance that it might be a customer. The caller hung up as soon as I said hello.

I quoted the Consumer Protection Act. Was harrassed more (Debt collector) reported by


Apparently, the debts they are trying to collect are statute barred! What they are doing is illegal. When I referred to the Consumers Protection Act and asked them to cease, CBV unleashed 5 to 6 calls to me. They all came from different numbers.

Some times there will be someone there and they dont know who they are looking for.When I ask who they are looking for they say "Who is this" I know not to say my real name even tho they could see my real name on the number listing .They then say the random name I say owes money for a company that does not even operate where I live!

I understand that this is to seek for active lines, and then they either sell or relay that data or picked up call to a call-centre agent who attempts to coerce you to pay.

This number calls mutiple times a day and when I have answered it was dead air. I have read other recent comments regarding this same number stating that it is used for scams but I believe it is a collections agency employee because of all the past collections numbers that I have blocked that call my number for whoever use to have my number.
