They left a voicemail and SAID they were calling from Comenity Bank regarding Torrid. But there were several things wrong with the message. For one, my account with Torrid is current and has been current. 2, they used my maiden last name, not my current name. 3, they used my user name not my legal first name. Seems pretty fishy to me. I may call Comenity customer service later but I certainly won't be calling this number back. Also it didn't include the typical "this is an attempt to collect a debt..." info they usually give.

Caller refused to give name and company information. I called back and informed them that they were breaking federal law by calling a cellphone without prior authorization from me, I was directed to a supervisor, who was quite apologetic and confirmed that my number no longer appeared in their system. Know your rights people and these types of calls will cease. The minimum fine for breaking the telecommunications law is $500 and $500 for every time they call you after you have taken the above steps. It's illegal to call a cell phone without prior authorization or an unlisted phone number. You do not have to call your carrier according to the lie they tell. I'm a retired communications government employee. When they realize that you know your rights you will have less interactions with them. Hope this helps.

Called me and left message. Call was not for me but for a relative of mine. I guess they could not find the person they were looking for so just called someone with the same last name. Would love to be able to sue them for calling my private number.

Caller leaves voicemail that lacks clear information...uses scare tactics with words like "escalation" and "attorney" and "documentation" of said call...you are usually not the person who they are calling for...does not go into detail about what matter/business/advantages they are calling you for...calls from Reynoldsburg, OH...mentions Boscov's/Bon-Ton...calls at least once a day...definitely harassment/scam likely...and incredibly annoying. Periodt!
