Comenity Bank - call repeatedly sometimes 6-8 times in a day using various numbers. Most calls come around meal times. They are calling to collect on accounts that have been closed in process of repayment program. Don't mind one call if payment is missed, but 6-8 times a day is harassment. Sounds like on a rotator program passing calls on to next processor etc.

I get these calls about 10 times a day every day, from about 5 different numbers even tho it's the same company calling. they start calling at 8 am and I've gotten calls up until 10 pm . really???!!!!

This is Comenity bank, a legitimate lender for many online merchants; they are probably calling about a missed payment or what have you. It's fine to call people who have missed payments or whatever, and I've got nothing against that at all - I myself honestly missed one payment and will catch up in just a few days. No big deal, one payment behind, and I appreciated the call when I first answered it, because I didn't realize the date has passed without a payment. However, calling at all hours many times every single day from dozens of seemingly spoofed numbers and area codes is illegal and reeks of scam artist tactics that no legit company in their right mind should ever want to be associated with. And on top of that they continue to call and call and call even after you've spoken to them and made payment arrangements. It's ridiculous and probably costs them a fortune more to do this than if they'd just behave like normal human beings. That's why I block their calls and rate them negatively, and why I report them to the FTC, and I hope everyone else who receives these calls reports them too. It's the only way to get people like this to behave. Bad form!

Very annoying debt collector for online charge accounts. They will put a false name in their caller ID, call you at ungodly hours of the morning or night, call you every hour for days. Mind you, it doesn't matter if you really owe the money or not.
