Some information the caller asked me to confirm was 30 years old and invalid. Other info was just wrong. I refused to give my DOB. Said she represented Vanderbilt University Hospital, but could not explain the purpose of the call without my DOB. She knew my name, cell number and home address. Told her to mail me a credible letter.

Said they represented Vanderbilt hospital, (I've never been there), I asked for proof of debt, she refused and said she would mark the account as "I refused to pay or would not work with them". Fine, go for it.
