A guy with an Indian accent called me today but I didn't say anything. Clearly a scam as it was the same like other reports.

I received a call from this number yesterday, a guy with an indian accent was on the line. He knew my name and where I work which is strange because I don't have my personal number tied to anything work related and I don't have any of my social media accts

I knew when he started talking about my AWS account. Then, I couldn't understand his English very well and he hung up. I wanted to know what he's looking for mostly but couldn't reach that point :)

very bad english, hard to understand. the guy asked for company information and to be in contact with tech dept. Asked another phone number. I told him to send his ID and what he want on email. Then called again few secs after and didn't talk and and hang up. we put his phone number on our blacklist.

Yup, got the same experience with you call. Sounds like an Indian slang English. I think they are scamming job seekers. Since +1 is from US and people wanted to live the American Dream, so they will be calling back and get charged heftily for the call. Just my thought...

I was listening to music on my office desktop and a message appeared on the screen stating no access permission for this site and immediately the site disconnected. Few minutes later I got a call from the number asking my name and Confirming if am working for the same company and disconnected. I understand it is a third party arranged for monitoring of the Office IT.
